Blackheath Ukelele Troupe

Blackheath Ukelele Troup meet weekly at Blackheath Community Centre, learning and playing a range of musical genres. We regularly take part in community events and festivals in the Blue Mountains. Our aim is to bring joy through participation!

Bill Barnes whip cracker

Bill Barnes is a competitive Australian whipcracker who has achieved success in regional and national divisions, including winning the men’s division at events like the Tasmanian Whipcracking Championships and competing in state and national circuits managed through the Australian Whipcrackers & Plaiters.

Me and Zoo

Mark has over 17 years experience working in zoos in both Australia and internationally. His amazing career has seen him work with a huge variety of animals including reptiles, big cats, elephants and everything in between!

At Me & Zoo we are passionate about conservation! Our animal presentations have a strong underlying element of animal conservation in Australia.

Bah-Hah 

Come and watch some fun, aerial acrobatics in the park! Adding to our fun and quirky vintage circus theme, Stuart brings an amazing display of circus arts and performance to Mount Victoria.

Sideshow Annie

Sideshow Annie is an exotic musical gem. Honouring that old school rock and weaving eastern and western influences like a rich tapestry. Fronted by the inimitable dynamo Gillian Taylor-Reynolds this magickal circus of musicians is both seasoned and charismatic. Their show is eccentric and infused with elements of Egypt, the blues, steampunk, anthemic tunes, and grooves that get you wriggling then tear your little hearts out. 

Jim Low

Get ready for Mount Vic Fest!

Local Blue Mountains singer, songwriter and author Jim Low will be on at the Mount Victoria Museum.

Jim will perform songs he has written which reflect his deep interest in Australian places, and the stories of the people who live there.

Admission $8 adults and $1 kids. Tour the museum while you’re there!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

The world’s most magical motorcar rolls into Mount Victoria for a special Mount Vic Festival matinee!

Celebrate Mount Vic Festival with a day of markets, live music and circus entertainment throughout historic Mount Victoria, then join us for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with a special theatre organ interval performance bringing all your favourite tunes to life.

**Doors and live music at 1.30pm (film starts at 2).

How to Get Involved

Businesses:

  • Theme your shop window, venue or accommodation.
  • Host a special menu, pop-up show or live performer.

  • Showcase anything that works in with the themes.

Locals:

  • Support our volunteer groups with your great organisation skills.
  • Help coordinate and work with suppliers and performers in the lead up to the event.
  • Help on the day with setting up.
  • Join the costume parades or volunteer for street performances.
  • Offer your space for workshops or performances.
  • Just show up dressed to the nines and ready to party!

Creators, Artists, and Performers:

  • Host a pop-up, sell your creations, or put on a performance.
  • Share your idea with the organising team. If it’s weird and wonderful, we want it!
